‘Nagar kirtan’ held to mark Guru Gobind Singh’s birth anniversary (04 Jan 2018)
"Ludhiana: A huge 'nagar kirtan' was organized by the sangat and residents of Urban Estate Phase-1, LIG Flats, Dugri, to mark the birth anniversary of Guru Gobind Singh. The 'nagar kirtan' ended at Gurdwara Sahib where the gurdwara committee presented a 'siropa' to the dignitaries present at the 'kirtan'. On this occasion, ex-president of Students' Organization of India and senior Youth Akali leader Meetpal Singh Dugri honoured the office-bearers of various sewa societies, who contributed their services in organizing the 'nagar kirtan'. He also appealed to people to follow the teachings of the great Sikh guru."
